Job Description:

The Role: Quality Engineer

The Quality Engineer is responsible for managing product compliance and quality activities to ensure products meet internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations. This role drives root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

What You’ll Do:

Product Quality & Compliance

  • Manage product compliance and quality-related activities across manufacturing.

  • Review and ensure adequacy of process control plans.

  • Handle day-to-day quality issues, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.

  • Manage non-conforming products and coordinate containment actions to prevent customer impact.

  • Track quality performance and drive improvements to meet annual quality goals.

Customer Quality

  • Handle customer complaints and prepare timely 8D or equivalent responses.

  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective action implementation.

  • Coordinate customer visits, audits, and quality reviews.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify quality trends and initiate improvement or CIP projects.

  • Support development and execution of annual quality objectives.

  • Participate as a core team member in product and quality review meetings.

Process Control & Data Analysis

  • Apply statistical techniques for data analysis and problem-solving.

  • Implement and maintain SPC for critical process and product parameters.

  • Conduct periodic audits of process controls and FMEA effectiveness.

Qualification & Change Management

  • Support qualification activities for new or changed processes, materials, or designs.

  • Review qualification data and prepare customer qualification packages when required.

  • Lead product change control (CCMB) meetings and track changes to production release.

Documentation, Training & Safety

  • Establish, review, and maintain quality procedures to meet internal and external standards (e.g., ISO).

  • Provide training to quality inspectors, technicians, and supervisors.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental requirements.

  • Supervise and develop assigned product compliance technicians (if applicable).

What We Seek:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Quality or product compliance experience is an advantage.

  • Manufacturing and quality assurance principles.

  • Statistical analysis, SPC, FMEA, 8D, and gauge capability studies.

  • ISO or other quality management systems.

  • Strong communication, analytical, auditing, and presentation skills.
