Job Title:                 Manufacturing Engineer 

Full-Time/Part:     Full Time 

Work Location:       Oseong Plant, Pyeongtaek 

Reports to:              Engineering Manager   

 

Description 

Entegris is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering & Quality for Materials Solutions (MS) manufacturing process & Quality located at Oseong plant. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Process Optimization – Identification and implementation of cycle time and yield improvement activities. 

  • Process Documentation – Maintain process documentation – operating procedures, test specifications, test methods, component drawings, etc.   

  • Provide leadership to the manufacturing engineering of CMP Slurry. 

  • Manage & Lead new products projects (new manufacturing process/equipment setup) 

  • Leads the effort and drives Continuous Improvement within the slurry facility. Acts in a proactive fashion regarding problem resolution.  

  • Support the introduction of new products through the engineering development of key processes.  

  • Sustain current manufacturing engineering requirements 

  • Identify, develop, and implement process enhancements to improve quality, cost, cycle time. 

  • Work on corporate management systems such as SAP, SAS including MOC, JSA, PSSR, Hazard review etc to verify or analyze manufacturing process 

  • Work on CI & Cost saving and Lean/6 Sigma efforts 

  • Response of Customer complain and 3D & 8D reports progress. 

  • Process Training – Assist in providing process training to direct labor force. 

  • Attend Global meeting and lead work meetings. 

  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

 

Specifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) 

  • Microsoft applications Skill (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project). 

  • Strong knowledge of PC based data acquisition Ability to analyze process data to understand and improve manufacturing process control.   

  • Ability to apply SPC, DOE, Lean/Six Sigma, mathematics, and statistics to solve complex manufacturing process problems.  

  • Hands on experience troubleshooting pneumatics and electrical control systems. 

  • Strong project management skills. 

  • Highly self-motivated and self directed. 

  • Need English communication Skill. 

  • Good in Engineering & Quality understanding Skill. 

 

Education / Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering etc 

  • 6sigma certification preferred; 

  • CMP slurry manufacturing experience preferred; 

  • Experience with working in an ERP+ (SAP) /ISO environment;
