The Role:
Our site in Danbury, CT is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The manufacturing engineering team strives to set the standard for process safety, process quality, and operational excellence within the Dry Process Solutions business unit, supporting Specialty Gases.
What You’ll Do:
- Support current systems and processes for Specialty Gas Products. This will include monitoring process health and investigating deviations, authoring and maintaining process documentation, and leading continuous improvement and optimization initiatives
- Investigate product or process failures and abnormalities, determine root cause, build corrective action plans and drive improvements to completion. This may include doing hands-on testing with toxic or dangerous materials
- Completion of critical projects in a manner that satisfies the customer (internal or external) with the agreed upon timeline and budget
- Maintain and update ERP master data, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), Routings, and related manufacturing information to ensure accuracy and alignment with production requirements.
- Support technology transfer from new product development to manufacturing by working with a cross functional team that includes R&D, Product Management, Quality, and Production.
What We Seek:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or mechanical engineering, or similar technical degree
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
- Able to work fully on-site in both a lab and office environment
- Able to move gas cylinders weight up to 50 lbs.
- Experience with statistical analysis software (such as Minitab or JMP), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
- Hazardous gas handling experience
- Experience with Lean/Six Sigma concepts
- Project Management experience
- Experience with programming languages (such as VBA, Python, or SQL)

- Compensation: $74,000- $89,000 per year with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
