JOB DESCRIPTION:

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

Works closely with development/manufacturing/quality engineering to establish and ensure compliance and quality reliability.   Ensure quality of products conform to established standards and agency regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform reliability engineering and statistical analysis.
  • Proactive in finding quality improvements related to Reliability Engineering
  • Works cross functionally with Engineering, Marketing, Manufacturing and Regulatory to establish measurable, valid product requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with product development and design assurance.
  • Aides in definition of test equipment as required to accomplish quality responsibilities.
  • Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
  • Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Identifies and routinely uses the most effective, cost efficient and best practices to execute processes; continually evaluates their effectiveness and appropriateness.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent years of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship preferred
  • Previous experience in failure analysis and in the medical device industry is a plus
  • Understanding schematics and how the components function in a circuit
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills
  • Proficient skills in Word, Excel, Access, Power Point
  • Experience in troubleshooting electronic circuits (analog and digital)
  • Understanding the common failure modes of electronic components and assemblies
  • Ability to design and build and assemble prototype circuits for test fixtures
  • Excellent reputation for building relationships across various levels of an organization.
  • Supplies useful data for improving reliability, customer support and defending legal cases

The base pay for this position is

$73,900.00 – $116,000.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
