Engineer – Frontline MAR Support

Location: Vacaville, California (On-site)

What you will get:

The full-time base annual salary for this position is expected to range between $93,000-$149,000. In addition, below you will find a comprehensive summary of the benefits package we offer:

Compensation for this role will be determined by the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and relevant knowledge.

What you will do:

  • Support manufacturing activities as an SME, ensuring systems are fit for purpose and ready for use.

  • Investigate complex issues and manage system changes with no precedent solutions.

  • Lead small to medium improvement projects that enhance reliability and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Maintenance, Automation, SHE, and Quality teams to meet production goals.

  • Apply technical knowledge and GMP expertise to solve problems and influence decisions.

  • Own or support critical systems such as bioreactors, filtration, chromatography, and buffer/media preparation.

  • Support equipment commissioning, qualification, and process transfers, including on-call support as assigned.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Advanced experience in pharma/biotech manufacturing systems.

  • Strong knowledge of GMPs and biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations.

  • Experience with drug substance manufacturing systems and equipment.

  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills, including root cause analysis.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with ability to influence stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP; ability to read process diagrams (P&IDs).
