We are looking for a Lastmile Network Engineer to join our support and implementation team. This position focuses on delivering reliable last-mile connectivity, automating network operations, and ensuring smooth handover to the NOC team. You will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing network infrastructure while leveraging automation tools to improve efficiency.Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Implement EDS service installation and maintain network systems (LAN, WAN, routing).
Design and develop Python scripts to automate repetitive network tasks, configurations, and monitoring.
Use Python for network device configuration and automation.
Integrate network automation tools with APIs to streamline workflows and increase operational efficiency.
Create and maintain scripts for configuration management on routers, switches, and other devices.
Perform analysis and troubleshooting of network-related issues.
Create and hand over monitoring links for customers to the NOC team.
Maintain a strong understanding of network infrastructure and hardware.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience with LAN/WAN networks, routing, and switching.
Strong proficiency in Python programming for automation.
Familiarity with network automation tools and APIs.
Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and monitoring systems.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
