Job Summary: This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major Duties:

• You will analyze, update, and develop technical data with established requirements.
• You will work with a team of engineers and technicians in coordination of acquisition activities for conventional ammunition across organizations and commands and recommend solutions technical issues within established timelines.
• You will prepare ammunition procurement data package documentation for higher level review, assist source selection efforts.
• You will provide production support including evaluating related engineering change proposals (ECPs) and requests for variations (RFVs), track deliveries, and resolve routine acquisition related issues.
• You will work with others in production acceptance and testing activities ensuring conforming product is being delivered to the fleet.
• You will participate in failure analyses and contribute to determining and applying implemented corrective actions.
• You will communicate with management and program sponsor to keep status of assigned program tasks updated.

Qualifications: FOR ND-02: You must have successfully completed a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree that included a major field of study as described in the Education section of this flyer. For the ND-03: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-02 (GS-05/08) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer utilizing basic engineering methods, principles and practices to support acquisition engineering projects related to munitions to ensure operational readiness.
