About the role:
The Engineer will work with internal peers from Mfg, Engg, R&D, IT, IE, SCM in addressing and preventing any quality issues from reaching customers, in driving improvements related to quality and in addressing issues raised by customers. He/She should also have good interaction with Optrs, Technicians and Line QCs. He/She also interacts with external ATCB Nexperia counterparts from BE, and subcon sites and Business groups as needed.
What you will do:
Ensures compliance to NC handling requirements for his/her assigned area.
Monitors process OCAPs & LRRs on his/her assigned area.
Escalate issues detected at the firewalls, during in-process monitoring, developing trends and spikes at his/her assigned area.
Lead and collaborate with process teams on continuous improvement projects aligned with quality objectives.
Drive effective lot scoping and immediate quarantine of suspect non-conforming lots and equipment at his/her assigned area.
Gatekeeper for releasing hold lots from system at his/her assigned area.
Drives process improvements focused on defect prevention and detection at his/her assigned area.
Gate Keeper of change at his/her assigned area. Ensures that any changes will not impact to quality risks.
Ensures that no complaints will occur on treated NC lots or any abnormal quality events at his/her assigned area.
In the event of customer complaint coming from his/her assigned area, he/she is responsible in leading the team through the 8D process and closure.
What you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Experience in manufacturing/process quality and handling customer complaints.
Familiarity with learning management systems and quality standards such as IATF 16949.
Results-driven, creative, and innovative mindset.
Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in SPC, process data analysis, spotfire, and problem-solving.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience in FMEA, cross-site sharing, failure analysis, and reliability assessment.
Experience in internal audits according to IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 standards.
Analytical mindset with risk-based thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
Adept in learning, fast learner, diligent, smart, can work under minimum supervision, can work under pressure. High EQ and IQ.
Effective communication, presentation and customer interfacing skills; Excellent problem solving and communication skills;
Excellent analytical skills.
Fast in use of microsoft tools such as Excel, PPT, Word, Project. Also uses analytical softwares such as JMP, Minitab or equivalent; Spotfire, Power BI. Also good in data mining and crunching coming from different sources such as CMSS, AWACS, eForms and the likes.
