Role Description
- You will be joining the PTA Team as a Summit Engineer. The team services the bank by implementing global trade capture and trade processing solutions, providing trade related data to several downstream systems. We pride ourselves on production stability and drive a culture of continuous improvement into the production environment with a focus on DevOps to support an agile operation. We will support you as you will analyze and develop technical solutions to deliver business and information technology requirements.

Your key responsibilities
- Producing high quality applications with a focus on stability, simplicity, maintainability, and efficiency
- Sharing a commitment to delivering a stable production platform. Providing third line support for both new and existing systems
- Taking responsibility for applications throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process, from understanding requirements, to final delivery to production
- Collaborate with colleagues working on other components in Rates technology to produce the best end-to-end solution for our clients
- Contributing to a team drive towards technical excellence through knowledge sharing and documentation
Your skills and experience
- Experience in Summit API development 2-5 years, MUST API (desirable)
- Experience of working in the financial services industry 2-5 years
- Experience of developing C/C++ (must have) and Java (desirable). Understanding test driven development and agile methodologies as part of the SDLC (desirable)
- Experience of using RightClick TMS (desirable)
- Oracle or other relational database experience
- Linux platform experience. Able to understand and behavior of applications when deployed to a Linux platform
- Google Cloud Platform or other cloud providers experience (desirable)
