We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Energy Engineer!

The Energy Engineer will support the development and delivery of energy efficiency programs by providing engineering calculations, measurement and verification, and utility program technical design and assistance. Lead design and development of technical strategies, conducts analysis to inform and recommend energy savings, and develops plans and provides reporting that contributes to the success of client programs. Provide general project oversight, quality control/assurance, and continuously informs customers and project team of updates and necessary adjustments.

For this opportunity, you’re a great fit if you can… ​​

  • Calculate energy savings for projects in our programs using standard engineering principles including physics, mechanics, electrical, thermodynamics, mathematics, and statistics

  • Participate in energy audits to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements

  • Prepare technical reports

  • Support development of measures characteristics for program planning and BD efforts, with technical oversight

  • Understand building energy end uses and energy impacts of industrial processes

  • Support analysis of energy efficiency projects using various tools and software

  • Prioritize safety in all actions and tasks

In this exciting career opportunity, you will have…

  • BS Engineering degree

  • FE/EIT preferred

  • 0-3+ years’ experience

  • Preferred but not required:  Knowledge of energy modeling principles, data logging and analytics, programming, or others as defined by the specific position

$65,000-75,000

Compensation Range

$59,500.00 - $89,200.00
