About Berengarra ,Kew
SVHM Residential Aged Care comprises 5 individual facilities, of which Berengarra is the most recently constructed. Berengarra is co-located with St George’s Hospital in Kew. Berengarra is a purpose built 90 bed facility, catering for 60 mainstream residents and 30 aged persons’ mental health residents. The model of care at Berengarra is person centred care. This model has at its core the responsibility to promote and ensure opportunity for all persons to make choices in every aspect of their lives. Berengarra provides a supportive living environment, where care is provided in consultation with each resident individual and institutional elements are eliminated to the greatest extent.
Berengarra unit operates with a qualified nursing workforce of Enrolled and Registered nurses with agreed workforce ratios and staffing levels that exceed industry standard.

The Enrolled Nurse (EN) is a valued and collaborative member of the multidisciplinary health care team at SVHM and is accountable for coordinating and delivering safe and comprehensive resident centred care while working competently within their scope of practice and in alignment with the SVHM and Nursing and Midwifery Board enrolled nurse standards of practice. This position is employed in a general aged care unit.
Classifications for this position will range from Endorsed Enrolled Nurse Level2 IB 68 - IB 72 ($69, 706 - $ 73,164 per annum pro rata).
