About the YourEMR Program

Grampians Health (GH) and St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne (SVHM) are working in collaboration to implement Victoria’s first shared patient record across rural, regional and metropolitan Victoria.

The YourEMR Program aims to deliver a comprehensive digital patient record across ambulatory, inpatient and community services at both organisations.

To achieve this, GH & SVHM will be employing an EMR program team to design, build and implement an EMR across both organisations.

About the Role

In order to achieve our vision of a single patient record, GH and SVHM will be recruiting a single EMR program team to design, build and implement our EMR. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of a large-scale transformational program across two large health services.

As the YourEMR Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for the preperation, coordination and execution of all program procurement activities.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing procurement plans for all program procurement activities, ensuring good governance oversight;

  • Coordinating tenders and supporting program managers, external suppliers and other stakeholders in the execution of related procurement activities

  • Providing expert advice in relevant legislation and probity requirements

  • Negotiating and executing contracts and agreements for the YourEMR program

You will work in collaboration with a number of key stakeholders across GH and SVHM including both Procurement teams.

Classification for this position will be a HS4, and the per annum salary will be based on candidate experience.

A Bit About You

Must Have

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field along and/or relevant industry experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in Technology procurement initiatives

  • High-level analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams, managing competing priorities and deadlines.
