Main purpose of the position
Lead the development, execution, and evolution of our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) across our operational, corporate, and early careers segments. This role is pivotal in shaping us into an employer of choice both internally and externally, ensuring our brand resonates with diverse talent audiences.
You will be responsible for designing compelling brand narratives, managing our social media presence, and creating engaging content that brings our culture, values, and opportunities to life.
Direct responsibilities
EVP Ownership & Strategy
- Work with the HRLT to design and implement a cohesive EVP strategy tailored to operational, corporate, and early careers audiences.
- Partner with our Marketing team to align to our customer brand
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and values.
- Monitor and measure EVP effectiveness, making data-driven adjustments.
Content Creation & Storytelling
- Develop original content (written, visual, video) that showcases our people, culture, and career opportunities.
- Source and share authentic employee stories to humanise our brand.
- Maintain a consistent tone of voice across all platforms and materials.
- Utilise a variety of software and equipment to create and edit content
- Maintain job adverts & SEO
Social Media & Digital Presence
- Own and manage all employer brand-related social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
- Plan and execute content calendars, campaigns, and community engagement strategies.
- Track performance metrics and optimise content for reach and engagement.
Campaigns & Activation
- Lead employer brand campaigns for attraction, engagement, and retention both group wide and at a local level.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition, Marketing, and Communications teams to amplify messaging.
- Support recruitment marketing initiatives including job adverts, career site content, and event branding.
Market Intelligence & Benchmarking
- Stay up to date with employer branding trends, tools, and competitor activity.
- Conduct internal & external research and benchmarking to inform strategy and innovation.
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Proven experience in employer branding, recruitment marketing, or brand communications within a similar sector.
- Strong content creation skills – copywriting, visual storytelling, and design/video editing.
- Demonstrated success in managing and growing social media platforms.
- Confident with SEO & algorithms across a multitude of engagement platforms.
- Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to translate insights into impactful campaigns.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with analytics tools and performance tracking
