Job Description

To engage with internal and external stakeholders in a bid to analyse and understand wellness issues and apply technical knowledge and expertise to develop, implement and monitor wellness related solutions.
  • Research, Identify, design and implement relevant wellness initiatives that aids in ensuring high productivity output within a healthy wellness culture
  • Motivate and provide tools to assist employees to adapt and maintain a balanced lifestyle
  • Provide high level support to Human Capital and line management on employee wellbeing issues
  • Provide a secure support hub for guidance and advice on employee lifestyle matters to line management and Human Capital (HC), e.g. identifying troubled employee lifestyle habits, etc Research best practice in the fields of employee wellness and lifestyle management and provide evidence-based proposals
  • Monitor and evaluate effectiveness and use of implemented initiatives
  • Ensure proper governance, risk management and compliance of wellness program and related Occupational Health and Safety initiatives
  • Design wellbeing strategies by developing holistic programs addressing physical, mental, financial, and social wellbeing.
  • Implement wellness initiatives by coordinating health campaigns, workshops, and support services.
  • Evaluate effectiveness by monitoring outcomes, collect feedback, and adjust programs to maximize impact.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders thorough working with Human Capital, managers, and external partners
  • Promote resilience by encouraging stress management, work-life balance, and mental health awareness.
  • Support employee relations and provide guidance on wellbeing-related issues, sometimes overlapping with labour relations and case management.
  • Align with business goals by ensuring wellbeing initiatives contribute to productivity, engagement, and retention.

  • Holistic wellbeing knowledge
  • Strategic program design: Ability to create and implement wellbeing initiatives that align with Human Capital and business goals.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Partnering with Human Capital, managers, occupational health providers, and external vendors to deliver effective solutions.
  • Communication skills: Clear, empathetic communication to promote wellbeing programs and engage employees.
  • Data analysis & evaluation: Measuring program impact, analyzing employee feedback, and adjusting strategies accordingly.
  • Resilience & stress management expertise: Knowledge of techniques to reduce burnout and foster resilience in high-pressure banking environments.
  • Change management: Guiding cultural shifts toward prioritizing wellbeing across the Bank.
  • Ethical & confidential practice: Ensuring employee privacy and trust when handling sensitive wellbeing issues.

Qualification requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Occupational Health, Social Work, Nursing Science or related field.
  • Master’s Degree in Organizational Psychology, Public Health, an added advantage.
  • Professional certifications in wellbeing, mental health, or employee assistance programs an added advantage.

Experience

  • 5 –7 years’ experience in Human Capital or wellbeing program management
  • Financial Services or regulated industries an added advantage
  • Experience with employee engagement initiatives and development.
  • Background in health promotion or occupational health
