We’re looking for an Employee Relations Case Team Lead to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis, based in our Bradford office. The role offers hybrid working.

The ER Case Team Leader plays a key role in delivering an effective, high‑quality employee relations service by leading a team of ER Case Advisors. The role ensures consistent and legally compliant case management, provides experienced oversight of complex and high‑risk matters, strengthens manager capability, and drives continuous improvement across ER quality, processes, and service delivery.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of ER Case Advisors to deliver a high‑performing, engaged, and consistent service
  • Allocate and prioritise ER caseloads, balancing risk, complexity, and team capacity
  • Provide expert oversight, challenge, and quality assurance on ER advice and case outcomes
  • Supervise and support complex ER cases, acting as escalation point for high‑risk, sensitive, or business‑critical matters
  • Partner with senior managers and key stakeholders to provide confident, pragmatic ER advice
  • Ensure ER case management is fair, consistent, evidence‑based, and compliant with UK employment law and company policy
  • Identify ER trends, risks, and root causes, using MI to inform actions and improve manager capability
  • Drive continuous improvement across ER processes, policies, quality standards, and service delivery

We tend to look for people with:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in an Employee Relations or HR Advisory role
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law, with practical application
  • Proven experience managing complex, high‑risk ER cases end to end
  • Strong collaborative stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build alignment at all levels.
  • Confident decision‑maker, able to provide constructive challenge and clear direction
  • Experience managing ER cases within a multi‑client or outsourced environment

Desirable:

  • Experience leading, managing, or mentoring HR/ER professionals
  • CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Background in high‑volume and/or unionised environments
  • Experience supporting organisational change, including restructures, TUPE, or redundancy programmes

What’s in it for you?

  • Competitive salary
  • 25 days annual leave with the option to purchase 5 more
  • Access to wellbeing and mental health benefits such as the Calm app, personal medical, critical illness cover and dental insurance
  • Matched pension contribution up to 10%
  • 24 hours of paid Volunteer Time Off
  • Discounted gym and wellness memberships
  • Access to our car benefit scheme

  • The chance to join an innovative, fast-paced and passionate team
