The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as an Employee Experience Coordinator and help shape a workplace where people feel engaged, valued, and inspired. In this role, you’ll work closely with the HR Business Partner to create meaningful experiences for employees—from recruitment and onboarding to engagement and community involvement. You’ll be the connection between new hires and their successful integration, while driving initiatives that boost morale and satisfaction. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Recruit candidates through events, interviews, and selection processes.

  • Coordinate onboarding and follow up with new hires for a smooth experience.

  • Track probationary evaluations with managers.

  • Implement initiatives to improve morale and reduce turnover.

  • Organize engagement activities and support internal communications.

  • Promote community involvement, university relations, and volunteer programs.

  • Provide HR guidance to managers and employees on policies and procedures.

  • Demonstrate and promote Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.

  • 2–5 years of experience in recruitment and/or HR generalist roles.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

  • Sound judgment and ability to handle confidential information.

  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.

  • Fluent in English and French (asset)

  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.
