Job Description:
Major accountabilities
Create a structured framework for establishing and managing a sports recreation committee.
Support staff recreation events by coordinating logistics, identifying and presenting vendor options for recreation programs and services as well as promoting participation
Develop an overarching staff engagement strategy aligned with corporate objectives
Guide committee leaders through effective meeting management and agenda planning
Oversee event execution to ensure successful delivery and positive participant experiences.
Specialized knowledge
Event Planning Experience: Demonstrated history organizing corporate events
Strategic Thinking: Ability to create long-term engagement strategies
Leadership Support: Skills in facilitating meetings and guiding committees
Vendor Management: Experience evaluating and negotiating with third-party providers
Project Management: Proficiency with timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal abilities for cross-functional collaboration
Education and experience
10+ years of experience in sports and event management
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing
