About the Role
At Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh, the Assistant Chief Steward plays a key leadership role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency across all kitchen and back-of-house areas. This role supports the Executive Chief Steward in maintaining operational excellence and fostering a positive, professional work environment for the team.

What You Will Do

  • Plan, organize, and oversee the daily operations of the Stewarding Department.

  • Lead, train, motivate, and evaluate the stewarding team to uphold Four Seasons’ cultural and core standards.

  • Maintain sanitation and cleanliness across all kitchens, storage areas, staff dining facilities, and stewarding equipment.

  • Control labor costs and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, and inventory management.

  • Ensure proper maintenance, care, and use of all stewarding machinery and equipment.

  • Coordinate with the Executive Chef and other departments to ensure adequate supply and readiness of service equipment.

  • Participate in regular operational meetings to support communication and collaboration between departments.

  • Uphold all Four Seasons policies, safety, and hygiene standards.

  • Maintain a harmonious and respectful work environment for all team members.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Chief Steward or in a similar Food & Beverage supervisory role.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Working knowledge of stewarding operations, dishwashing systems, and sanitation standards.

  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
