The Baker Hughes Internship is designed to enable students either pursuing a Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree or recently graduated to gain hands-on work experience as the foundation of their professional lives. During your internship, you will be supported by a buddy and your manager who will ensure you have a valuable learning experience. You can expect to receive coaching and mentoring to enable you to complete assignments and projects to develop your learning and skillset.

If you are completing your academic studies, you will have the possibility to develop your thesis project with us during the internship.

As an Intern, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Global Supplier Execution team in streamlining execution processes and enhancing process coordination, ensuring seamless material flow and getting in touch with a global supplier base.
  • Contributing to the Material Synchronization initiative by coordinating upstream activities of the material flow (e.g., document release, planned orders, POR) to improve prioritization, cross-functional alignment and synergy.
  • Monitoring process performance through data analysis to enable early detection, risk mitigation, and a proactive approach to ensure on‑time project starts.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g. Engineering, Manufacturing, Buying, Project Management...) to align priorities and improve VTS, OTD, and material completeness.
  • Completing internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements.
  • Learning internal software to assist with the completion of projects and tasks
  • Applying Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained 

Fuel your passion – To be successful in this role you will:

  • Hold a Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
  • Be high-energy and self-motivated
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills in English
  • Possess a valid EU work permit
  • Be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • A high level of energy, motivation, and initiative
