The Baker Hughes Internship is designed to enable students either pursuing a Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree or recently graduated to gain hands-on work experience as the foundation of their professional lives. During your internship, you will be supported by a buddy and your manager who will ensure you have a valuable learning experience. As an Intern, you will be responsible for:
Supporting the Customer Application Engineering team with a strong focus on data analysis, rather than traditional engineering activities.
Comparing, validating, and reconciling datasets and tables from multiple sources.
Performing cost analysis and pricing analysis to support internal decision‑making and commercial strategies.
Creating, cleaning, and structuring data, including the use of AI‑based tools to improve efficiency and insight generation.
Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and KPIs for internal stakeholders.
Transforming large datasets into meaningful insights for Project Managers and cross‑functional teams.
Collaborating in a cross‑functional environment, working closely with Pricing, Sourcing, and other operational teams.
Contributing to cost optimization, pricing strategies, and operational decision‑making through data‑driven analysis.

To be successful in this role you will:
Be currently enrolled or recently graduated in a Bachelors’ or Masters’ level degree in Mechanical, Management, other Engineering disciplines, or similar technical/analytical fields .
Have maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent in your country
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and data quality mindset.
Good knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar).
Motivation to learn and work with large datasets.
Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with different internal stakeholders
Be fluent in oral and written English and Italian and have effective communication skills
Be able to legally work in the country that you are applying in, without company sponsorship or time restriction
