Our internship will provide you with the opportunity to become familiar with Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E). You'll participate in technically focused training, team meetings and work on projects and present your results. During your internship you will be supported by a buddy and your manager who will ensure that you have a valuable learning experience
As an Intern, you will be responsible for:
Performing routine preventative maintenance and urgent repairs on mechanical components, such as HVAC systems, pumps, and conveyors
Diagnosing machinery malfunctions and implementing effective repairs to reduce downtime/ Diagnosing faults in electrical, hydraulic, and fiber optic control systems, performing repairs in workshops or offshore environments
Maintaining detailed records of service, repairs, and maintenance activities, often using (CMMS)
Assembles, tests, and validates subsea control modules (SCMs), Hydraulic Power Units (HPUs), and electrical distribution hardware
Performs electrical testing such as Insulation Resistance (IR), continuity, HV/LV, and Time-Domain Reflectometry (TDR). Conducts hydraulic pressure testing and flushing

To be successful in this role you will:
Have graduated with a bachelor’s or master’s degree certificate in either Mechanical engineering technology, industrial maintenance, or specialized training in electronics, hydraulics, information technology or a related field within the last 2 years.
Have maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3 out of 5.0 or the equivalent from the graduating university.
Be fluent in oral and written English
Have the legal right to work in Angola without restrictions.
Be smart, have good communication skills (written, speaking, listening), right attitude, right mindset, right character and eager to learn.
Proven experience in subsea controls, Ability to read and interpret schematics, P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and technical sketches OR understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and troubleshooting techniques, Strong blueprint reading skills, analytical problem-solving, and basic computer skills for reporting
