Role Summary
The Emerging Market Field Marketing Leader plays a mission-critical role in fueling the company’s growth across one of its most dynamic regions. Reporting directly to the SVP, Global Marketing, this leader energizes the connection between global and regional marketing and sales, champions market-specific innovation, and ensures the local programs advance global revenue priorities. Serving as the strategic bridge between worldwide marketing vision and in-region execution, this role transforms global strategy into impactful, locally resonant initiatives that elevate pipeline performance, accelerate revenue, and strengthen brand consistency. The Emerging Market Field Marketing Leader shapes the marketing strategy, drives operational excellence, and delivers measurable business outcomes across key markets, empowering teams to win in a highly competitive landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Growth Strategy & Alignment
- Serve as a member of the India & Asean Leadership Team and marketing partner to Emerging market Sales, aligning marketing strategy to regional business goals, revenue targets, and sales motions.
- Advise Emerging market leadership on data-driven marketing approaches that accelerate growth and deliver performance outcomes.
- Build and execute an Emerging market marketing plan aligned with Hitachi Vantara’s priorities in AI, hybrid cloud, and corporate data infrastructure.
- Elevate flagship solutions such as Virtual Storage Platform One (VSP One) and AI-ready infrastructure to strengthen regional competitive positioning.
GTM & Marketing Strategy Ownership
- Own the Emerging market go-to-market strategy and end-to-end omnichannel marketing programs, including digital, demand generation, events, content, and partner marketing.
- Lead demand generation and ABM programs focused on enterprise and public sector clients.
- Develop integrated partner marketing with system integrators, distributors, cloud partners, and alliances to fuel regional development.
- Amplify customer success stories to reinforce leadership in high-end enterprise storage.
- Grow brand preference in the mid-range storage segment.
Pipeline Growth & Demand Generation
- Own marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline targets for the region.
- Deploy programs that build pipeline, shape customer journeys, and support sales conversions.
- Launch targeted demand generation for enterprise, mid-market, and strategic accounts.
- Manage campaign execution across segments, partners, and priority opportunities.
- Optimize investment through performance tracking and data-drive budget allocation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Drive alignment across go-to-market planning and major product releases.
- Partner with Sales, Global Marketing, and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive execution and adoption of Hitachi Vantara’s data and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Strengthen organizational coordination and communication across stakeholders.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Build, lead and develop a high-performing regional marketing team.
- Inspire and support diverse, multi-country organization.
- Foster innovation, creativity, operational rigor, and evidence-based decision-making.
- Promote strong collaboration and shared accountability across APAC Emerging markets.
- Ensure disciplined campaign planning, execution, and reporting.
APAC Emerging Market Experience
- Localize marketing strategies for diverse cultural, regulatory, and competitive environments across India and Asean.
- Elevate Hitachi Vantara’s role as a global innovation leader in advanced data and cloud transformations.
Experience
- 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably within infrastructure, enterprise technology, cloud, or data center solutions.
- Strong track record in Emerging market field marketing and demand generation with a measurable pipeline impact.
- Experience navigating matrixed global organizations.
Capabilities
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of enterprise sales cycles and purchasing behaviors.
- Executive presence with the ability to influence senior sales leadership.
