About the role: 

 
St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside is currently looking for an experienced Emergency RegisteredNurse to join our team. Working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting, you will be required to use your exceptional clinical skills to efficiently and accurately plan, coordinate and evaluate care needs to ensure high quality care in a rapidly changing environment. 

As a Registered Nurse in Emergency Department, you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated clinical team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for our patients.

Things that work for us:

  • Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is essential

  • Willingness to be able to work on a casual basis 

  • Effective communication skills at all levels enabling you to achieve best practice

  • Recent experience in the speciality area you are interested in applying for, and appropriate qualifications and registration.

  • You will understand the importance of providing quality care, and you feel rewarded by creating a genuine impact

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills that provide the support and nurture for our patients and organisation’s needs.

  • Minimum 1 year of recent emergency nursing experience in an acute care setting.

  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification is mandatory; Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is highly regarded

  • Willingness and proven reliability to work a rotating roster — including day, evening, night, weekend, and public holiday shifts.

  • Commitment to teamwork, adaptability, and continuous professional growth within the emergency nursing specialty
