As a EMEA Supply Chain Analyst supporting overall activities of a high-volume transaction, fast-paced organization. Accountable for maintaining interfaces stability and quality between our global systems.

Guarantee processes governance when implementing new flows or operations. Achieve operational excellence while complying to Alcon standards. Work in close collaboration with cross-functional groups, manufacturing and warehouse operations and provides excellent customer service against market strategies within the correct cost and time frames.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Ensure advanced support analyzing and solving process and technical issues resulting in Idoc errors in collaboration with global cross-functional groups providing timely resolutions and minimizing impact on countries or manufacturing sites in scope

  • Ensure supply chain and trading environment compliance with appropriate regulatory authorities and laws including customs, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Alcon Financial Controls Manual (AFCM), etc. This includes the proper coordination, implementation and overseeing the execution of the required procedures

  • Provide support and advanced advice for processes definition and best practices sharing among countries and manufacturing sites in scope always having a continuous improvement mindset approach

  • Actively participate or lead projects as Subject Matter Expert translating Supply Chain or Manufacturing operations into a compliant and functional ERP execution

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Higher Education in Supply Chain or Business Administration with at least 3 years of demonstrated experience for large multi-national organizations

  • Fluency in English, any additional European Language is a plus

  • Experience in Excel, SAP or Idoc

  • Ability to drive for results and meet program and project deadlines

  • Excellent analytical skills paired with a proactive and action-oriented attitude in driving projects

  • Ability to think creatively and challenge status quo

IT WOULD BE NICE IF YOU HAVE:

  • Familiarity with clinical applications or healthcare data is a plus.

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
