EMEA Static Data Ops Specialist

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a EMEA Static Data Ops Specialist. The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in Static Data management, as well as in internal and external reporting, supporting business operations across the EMEA and APAC regions. In addition, the individual will contribute to and lead key departmental and cross functional projects, ensuring the effective delivery of strategic initiatives.

The EMEA Static Data Operations Specialist on the International Wholesale Operations Brand Ops, Reporting and Static team is responsible for supporting daily operational activities, including the accurate setup and maintenance of static data across multiple systems. This role spans a broad range of products such as Treasury Management, internal and regulatory reporting, and participation in strategic projects. The role supports both internal and external customers.

The role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to operational risk standards, and collaboration across teams to deliver timely and accurate outcomes

In this role, you will:

  • Accurately set up and maintain static data across relevant systems in line with established procedures and deadlines.

  • Opening, closing and updating of Treasury Management profiles and accounts for Corporate, Bank and other Wells Fargo clients on a variety of Wells Fargo applications.

  • Adhere to the SSI (Standard Settlement Instructions) process, ensuring set up is completed accurately and on time across the relevant systems.

  • Creation and amendment of client charging profiles.

  • Adding and amending of client fees, statements and billing profiles.

  • Liaising with London and International colleagues to support the on-boarding process and investigate/resolve fee-related queries.

  • Complete daily task lists and meet all operational deadlines.

  • Ensure Operational Risk is being considered for all tasks completed.

  • Escalate, report, and assist in remediation of operational risk incidents as required.

  • Support the manager in meeting all operational risk and compliance obligations, including reporting and governance requirements

  • Engage fully in new projects and initiatives as assigned by the manager.

  • Interact with peers, risk, compliance, and technology teams to resolve issues and deliver project objectives.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Participate in research, data gathering, and tracking related to regulatory and policy requirements.

  • Conduct routine analysis, monitor trends, and present findings to stakeholders.

  • Assist in preparing internal and regulatory reports with accuracy and timeliness.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Static Data role, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Knowledge of Treasury Management within banking operations,

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in SWIFT payment formatting.
