Embedded Lead Verification Engineer-Test Owner

As a Lead Verification Engineer-Test Owner, you will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of Software Verification for Tyre Pressure Monitoring Sensor(TPMS) and other Automotive Products.
You will work within cross functional engineering teams and operate in a dynamic, fast evolving automotive electronics environment, aligned with world class development processes.

General Responsibilities
• Collaborates with developing complex software in selected languages for Sensata products and/or applications consistently following Sensata’s coding standards and in accordance with applicable software development methodology and release processes
• Key participant in the development of software to control external hardware for automated test equipment and other applicable development
• Organizes software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers in the software development process
• Creates and executes designs for small sets of new functionality as part of a software project
• Organizes participation in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

Key Responsibilities include:

• Own and lead end‑to‑end systems verification for TPMS products, taking full test ownership from verification planning through execution, defect management, customer release, and sign‑off
• Define and execute verification strategies, including system verification test plans, coverage, risks, and release criteria for each customer software release
• Develop, maintain, and lead automated test frameworks
• Analyze test results, author test and verification reports, and manage defect detection, tracking, root‑cause analysis, and closure
• Provide Technical Leadership in working with colleagues and customers to develop and implement enhancements to address real world performance issues
• Complete assigned individual and team tasks
• Act as the primary verification interface for cross‑functional teams and automotive OEM customers, supporting project delivery through successful customer release
• Support advanced development process activities (analysis, design, reviews, verification testing)
• Liaising with customers and internal departments in support of project activities.
• Working according to all agreed team procedures, including ASPICE and Agile/Scrum methods
• Continuous improvements activities and keeping abreast of industry best practices within Verification function.

Technical Essential Skill:

• Strong background in Automotive Software/System Verification.
• Hands-on experience with Software Testing Life Cycle.
• Strong working knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies
• Experience programming in C/Python/LabVIEW for Test Automation Script.
• Experience using Atlassian JIRA
• Experience with requirements management tools
• ISTQB Advanced Level Certification (added advantage)
