Job Description

We are seeking an Embedded Systems Audio Software Engineer to drive the integration of cutting-edge audio technology into consumer devices.

The engineer will work on audio software development, including driver development, audio solution development, and system integration.

Responsibilities

As an Audio Software Engineer, you will:

  • Develop device drivers for ADI audio ICs.
  • Design, implement, and verify algorithms and firmware for target systems or silicon platforms.
  • Develop and execute audio test procedures for various platforms, including Linux and Windows.
  • Support system integration, debugging, and troubleshooting across multiple hardware platforms.

Basic Requirements

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
  • 3+ years of software or firmware development experience, including 2+ years in the audio field.
  • Familiarity with embedded system software, RTOS, and ALSA drivers.
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming.
  • Strong coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Good understanding of digital signal processing (DSP).
  • Experience with GUI development.
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming.
  • Experience with the Android audio framework and mobile audio systems.
  • Experience developing Windows audio drivers.
  • Experience supporting mass production as a key audio software engineer.
