Job Description:
MISSION:
responsibility for the end-to-end contract management process,
from pre-contract – in support of Sales activities and ensuring compliance, in co-ordination with Legal team, with all applicable regulations and functional best practices
– to contract execution, ensuring contractual discipline and through this contributing to the delivery of the relevant planned profit and financial performance,
ACTIVITIES:
With reference to Bidding & Proposal process and within pre-award phase:
Provide inputs relevant to contractual matters for bids, proposals and licenses in strict coordination with Legal and with the support of the other concerned departments, reviewing and commenting commercial and operational T&Cs and highlighting areas of opportunity and risk, such as ambiguities, omissions, conflicts and potential issues and criticalities;
- Participate to negotiations of new contracts under the guidance of Sales Manager/Campaign Managers, providing comments on contractual and operative aspects;
- Collaborate with Legal to the definition and update of standard sales contracts and other standard documents such as non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, etc.
With reference to Delivery process and within execution phase:
- Act as primary commercial interface with customers duri.ng contract performance, with the aim to nurture positive business relationships;
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of any commercial aspect of the contract, such as export licenses, claims, variations, provisions, guarantees;
- Monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of the contract obligations fulfilment;
- Manage the business related aspects of contracts and related deliverables as applicable (Helicopters or Service and Spare Parts) in full cooperation with the relevant PLM and/or Customer Support Management (CSM) and in coordination with all relevant involved LH Departments, in order to ensure the proper and timely fulfillment of the contractual obligations;
- Rely on CSS&T Contract Management for post-award activities for CSS&T specific contract;
- Verify the complete fulfillment of contractual obligations and documentation and communicate any deficiency to the relevant stakeholder, as part of closeout process;
- Coordinate and be responsible of all negotiations for amendment to contracts and other agreements in coordination with Sales Manager/Campaign Manager and in coordination with Legal Department;
- Supervise the Acceptance and Delivery process of any contractual deliverable, either at LH facilities or at Customer bases, as applicable, collect relevant documentary records and finalize side agreements with customer as necessary, targeting the successful delivery of the aircrafts and liaise with all the relevant LH Departments;
- Provide feedback, based on experience on field, to Legal on contractual aspects aiming to improve contractual standards of reference;
- Ensure proper issuance of invoices and timely claims of payment, in accordance with T&Cs and contract execution progresses and achievements, and deal with credit management.
Requirements:
Solid understanding of contract lifecycle management, including contract interpretation, change management, claims handling, and close-out activities, even if primarily gained from a Customer Support or Service perspective.
Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills, with demonstrated experience managing commercial discussions, contract variations, and customer claims while protecting company interests.
Cross-functional coordination capabilities, with the ability to work effectively with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Operations to ensure contractual compliance and timely delivery of obligations.
Business and financial acumen, including familiarity with invoicing processes, payment follow-up, guarantees, and performance monitoring to safeguard profitability and contractual discipline
