Job Summary: This a National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service Position. This is a Permanent WG-5801-12 ELECTRONICS EQUIPMENT REPAIR INSPECTOR (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D1207000 and is part of the MO Combined Support Maintenance Shop. This is a bargaining position.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidate must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri Army National Guard. Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion). Maximum Military Grade - Warrant Officer: CW4 (W-4) with a date of rank after 30 DEC 2019 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience or training which demonstrates the applicant's knowledge of electrical or electronic theory, knowledge of common testing procedures, skill in the use of hand tools of the electronics trade, and skill in reading schematics. WG-12 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess specialized experience or training that provided the ability to use principles, basic functions, and application of theory of electronic systems or equipment; experience inspecting and diagnosing problems to determining needed repairs for malfunctions in electronic equipment or systems; experience making and inspecting mechanical repairs that require the use of precision measuring and calibrating equipment; experience using complex test equipment such as deviation meters, complex special test panels, etc.; and experience that demonstrates the ability to interpret technical manuals, specifications, and publications.
