Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electronic Security Technician 3 to join the Security Operations Team. Daily duties will include installation, troubleshooting and repair of access control, intrusion detection, intercom, and CCTV/Network video systems and associated infrastructure and hardware. Perform regular and annual preventative maintenance of security systems and/or equipment.
Perform basic programming, such as adding card readers, alarm points and cameras to security systems. Perform acceptance testing of installed equipment. Responsible for updating management on the status of all work performed daily. Notify management of any materials needed to complete duties.
Basic Qualifications Electronic Security Technician 3:
High School diploma or equivalent and 4+ years additional education and/or related experience including Electronics training or trade school, experience to included installing/servicing access control, alarm & intrusion detection, analog/ network video systems within a commercial environment.
Interim Secret clearance to start with ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret Clearance.
US Citizenship required.
Required to possess a valid driver’s license during course of employment.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; including MS Word, MS Excel, and/or Teams.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, as well as being attentive to detail.
Strong familiarization of basic electrical fundamentals, relay logic and applied theory.
Basic understanding of TCP/IP basic network concepts.
Ability to perform in a time sensitive environment.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics drawings.
Ability to operate hand and power tools.
Ability to climb ladder.
Ability to lift up to 50 LBS.
Preferred Qualifications:
Top Secret Clearance.
Experience installing/troubleshooting Lenel, DMP, MasterMind, Milestone, AXIS.
Experience with system requirements for UL2050, NISPOM and ICD705.
Previous security service technician in commercial environment working with access control, alarm & intrusion detection, and analog/network video systems.
Lenel certified.
Primary Level Salary Range: $61,700.00 - $102,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
