Job Description and Qualifications



We are looking for an Electronic Reporting Process Analyst based in Barcelona. This role provides enterprise design process support and accountability for Global Electronic Reporting.  This includes deploying enterprise-wide strategies and standards in support of Customer Support Services. 

This includes monitoring, translating and communicating regulatory requirements by country and assisting the Process Owner, Global Electronic Reporting by working together with IT, Finance, Tax and other divisions for development, documentation, training content and communication of enterprise design for SAP and outside SAP processes. 

This will not only be limited to country-wide government mandates related to electronic document implementations but also to the private sector customer base where customer specific electronic document interchange requirements also exist.  


As Electronic Reporting Process Analyst, you will:

  • Leverage regional resources to gain process and business alignment and enable deployment of processes for existing and new geographies, entities and businesses, especially the Merger & Acquisition related corporate strategies or any changes to the existing geography, region, country etc.
  • Assist the Electronic Reporting process owner with regular communication with the business areas, Finance, Tax, IT and SBS teams to identify and validate business requests and local legal regulations within the region impacting enterprise design.
  • Be responsible to assist in driving processes related to Electronic Reporting including SAP eDocument for new country implementations, existing country new requirements, non-SAP solution implementations, release and refresh management and operational production support.
  • Assist in raising SAP process change requests and proactive follow up of Service Now ticket resolution. 
  • Have the ability to build effective relationships and influence all levels of the regional organization, including regional functional counterparts.
  • Work with IT, Finance, Tax and Procurement to actively identify and help manage relationship with the 3rd party providers (global / regional / country specific) to support new country implementations; updates/releases for existing countries; documentation and operational support. 
  • Assist with implementing and supporting electronic reporting globally in our single instance of SAP by taking advantage of existing processes and knowledge for quicker and more efficient implementations.
  • Help create a standardized and timely process for the requirements that is understood by Business and IT management and help avoid non-compliance and/or outage resulting in delivery and invoicing shutdown in participating countries.

You will have:

  • Billing and Disputes knowledge is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP Sales & Distribution and SAP Finance related processes are beneficial.
  • Understanding of all Business segments in the region.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills i.e. advanced Excel, Visio etc.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, an additional European language is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle conflicting and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and closure. Continuous improvement mindset with strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and to meet project deadlines. This calls for drive, initiative and being able to work independently as well as a part of a team.
  • Occasional business travel to support projects and initiatives may be required.
  • Flexibility to participate in meetings or teleconferences outside of normal working hours may be required.
