The Electronic Records Specialist plays a vital role in processing case files and documents from various sources and will need to ensure the accurate filing, scanning, auditing, tracking, and destruction of records per established electronic record keeping policies and procedures.

We Require
Two years of administrative and clerical experience
High school diploma or GED
A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
We Also Value
Records experience in a law office, court, criminal justice or indigent defense setting
Experience working with electronic records or case management systems
Working knowledge of OnBase and/or JustWare
Job Contributions
Maintains electronic and physical records and files
Prepares files/documents for scanning then scans and indexes documents
Performs regular quality control checks
Reprocesses documents returned because of correction
Reviews, files, and processes electronic and paper documents
Boxes and transport files for destruction or for long-term storage
Pulls and prepares physical or electronic files for appropriate dissemination, including dividing, sorting, redacting, and scanning
Performs scanning equipment checks and maintenance
Serves as backup to Justice System Clerk positions as needed
Working Conditions
The job requires the ability to work with traumatic subject matter (crime scenes, accidents, etc.)
You will work in an environment with frequent interruptions, time pressures, high volumes of work, handling multiple or complicated tasks, unscheduled tasks, frequently changing tasks, accuracy, decision making, concentration/vigilance, teamwork, working in close physical proximity with others, and public contact
Requires to lift 15-35 pounds from floor to waist; 25 pounds waist to shoulder or shoulder to overhead; carry 15-35 pounds 100 feet or push / pull 100 pounds 1000 feet
Alternative work schedule options are available after the training period, based on business needs
