The Electronics Product Value Stream (EPVS) is part of the Engine Control Systems organization within Power and Controls at Collins.  We support the build and delivery of our electronic products built in our Puerto Rico and Phoenix Electronics Operations facilities.   

We are responsible for all levels of communication from beginning to end.  In other words, we own the entire communication stream from the supply base to internal ECS communication, through the final customer interface being with our Customer Value Streams.  We interact with engineering, quality, contracts, and procurement teams at Collins to ensure the customer priority is represented and that risks are mitigated for operations to maintain on time delivery.  As an EPVS Co-Op, you will be supporting the Product Line Value Stream Leads who are the front-line contacts to Operations in Puerto Rico and Phoenix.  You will have an opportunity to tune into the operation’s daily needs and inner activity, along with the supply chain hurdles.  You will work with a team of Operations Representatives to collect part status and drive down barriers impacting hardware builds.

This is a seven month co-op beginning January 2026 - July 2026 and the work will be completed at the Santa Isabel site in Puerto Rico. it is only eligible for current students with a graduation date past December 2026. Candidate must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment

What You Will Do

  • Support Phoenix and Puerto Rico Electronic Operations to address customer delivery assurance/operations inquiries
  • Compile and analyze key process indicators that focus on organization objectives in the areas of sales, overdue, and inventory.
  • Participate in the development of standardized processes within operations in order to optimize the utilization of resources and meet customer expectations for delivery
  • Interface with Electronic Operations and Customer Value Streams to develop delivery commitments and track/communicate status daily
  • Interface with Supply Chain on material shortage identification, impact assessment and mitigation plans

What You Will Learn:

  • Gain knowledge on operations, logistics, supply chain, and engineering details and communicating effectively to leadership and customers
  • Learn how to create and present key metric status reports as needed for Leadership and Customer inquiries
  • Gain exposure into the daily operations and inner activity in the manufacturing sites and supply chain hurdles

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the information under this program/contract
  • Experience in Microsoft, Excel

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Displays experience or knowledge in SAP MRP systems.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience: advanced Excel skills preferred
