Job Summary: This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major Duties:

  • You will overhaul, repair, rebuild, modify, troubleshoot, adjust, install, test, inspect, fabricate and maintain complex electronics equipment.
  • You will overhaul Close-in Weapons Systems (CIWS) Gun and Ammo Handling System (GAHS), MR92 Combined Antenna System (CAS), Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) ANTENNA SYSTEMS.
  • You will overhaul Communication Antenna Systems and AN/SQ-9 RADAR.
  • You will determine work sequences of repair projects.
  • You will use oscilloscopes, spectrum, network and distortion analyzers and frequency counters.
  • You will guide lower level employees in performance of tasks.
  • You will review and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, wiring diagrams when performing repair and related duties.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION: *The ability to utilize troubleshooting techniques in order to overhaul, repair, and rebuild complex electronic equipment. * Installing, testing, inspecting and fabricating designs/devises. * Maintaining complex electronic equipment.
