Position Overview:

Responsible for assisting in the overall functioning of the Diagnostic Imaging Picture Archiving and Communications systems (PACS) located within the facilities campus and affiliates. Duties include: daily system maintenance, basic technical support, basic triage and troubleshooting assistance and training assistance to the product customers and staff. Monitors the systems for data quality, efficiency, operation, and data integrity.

Job Description:

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Electronic Imaging Services
• Assists in the overall functioning of the records management functions at a specific site/sites.
• Assures that requests for images are documented, prepared and distributed as requested and according to established policy and procedure.
• Ensures that patient images are available for scheduled examinations/ procedures.
• Performs activities related to inactive images including short and long term archival and retrieval.
• Performs daily system maintenance, basic technical support, triage and troubleshooting of the RIS and PACS and assists product customers in resolving simple issues.
Communication
• May be required to train/precept students and new technicians.
Quality Assurance
• Monitors the systems for data quality and integrity and efficient operations.
EDUCATION:
HS Diploma: High School Diploma or General Education (GED)

Pay Range is $34.15 to $42.68 / hour

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
