Job Description:

Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as an Electromagnetic Spectrum Manager to manage the EMS for the USCENTCOM CITS Program supporting the USCENTCOM J6 in Tampa, FL.

Our work depends on Electromagnetic Spectrum Management (EMS) Technician joining our team to provide technical expertise to Government personnel for all EMS functions.

HOW A FUNCTIONAL ANALYST PRINCIPAL WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Leads the EMS contract team and works closely with the customer to meet requirements for research, development, validation, utilization, analyzing, and assessing all Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) requirements, and EMS products within the USCENTCOM electromagnetic operational environment. 
  • Manages the team providing EMS management services to analyze radio frequency (RF) requirements, develop Radio Frequency Authorizations (RFAs); assigns authorized RF in Spectrum XXI (SXXI). 
  • Authors host nation coordination (HNC) packages to coordinate with partner nations’ in obtaining RF approvals. 
  • Performs analysis of new spectrum-dependent systems to assess spectrum supportability and support DoD Certification process. 
  • Documents and maintains spectrum supportability assessments as required for official correspondence.
  • Expert knowledge of EMS management tools: Spectrum XXI (SXXI), Host Nation Spectrum Worldwide Database Online (HNSWDO), ACES/JACS, Joint Spectrum Database Repository (JSDR), Microsoft products and applications.
  • Supports Service Components, internal and external agencies.  Manages the USCENTCOM In-theater Training program; provides technical training to Government personnel for all EMS functions prior to military deployment.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
  • Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience managing EMS in the Department of Defense (DoD)
  • Required Technical Skills:
    • Expert knowledge of Spectrum XXI (SXXI) process and tools
    • Expert knowledge of Host Nation Spectrum Worldwide Database Online (HNSWDO)
    • Knowledge using Automated Communications / Joint Automated CEOI Systems (ACES/JACS)
    • Experience with the Joint Spectrum Database Repository (JSDR)
    • Experience with End-to-End Spectrum Support (E2ESS)
    • Experience using Joint Spectrum Interference Resolution Online (JSIRO)
    • Microsoft tools and applications
    • Establish and maintain effective customer relationships
    • Good interpersonal, analytical, and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Experience with USCENTCOM and familiarity with its mission
    • Experience with the system certification process
    • Familiarity with Fusion Analysis & Development (FADE)
  • Location: On Customer Site at MacDill AFB in Tampa, FL
  • US Citizenship Required

The likely salary range for this position is $106,250 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
