Job Description:

  • Design mechanical fixture for shock, vibration, and other engineering tests
  • Perform product characterization and evaluation tests using bench top setups and automated test systems
  • Conduct regular maintenance, debugging and general fixing of lab equipment that is Electro-Mechanical in nature
  • Support diverse range of activities including (but not limited to) hands-on testing and characterization of MEMS motion sensor devices (gyroscope and accelerometer)
  • Work closely with product and design engineers to setup new experiments properly and to collect meaningful data thereafter

Key Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years experience in a semiconductor test and measurement environment.
  • Experience in mechanical design with Solid Works or other software
  • Experience in test systems and following test procedures
  • Experience in lab equipment maintenance and strong debugging skills
  • Solid problem solving and communication skills
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with lab equipment's and measurement system like signal analyzer, oscilloscope, power supply, etc.
  • Detail-oriented & motivated individual who is a self-starter
  • Knowledge of electrical circuits and testing
  • Experience in building basic electrical hardware, developing customized characterization and automated test systems
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as C, C#, VB.Net, LabView, Python
  • Experience in shock and vibration testing is a plus

Education:

* Graduate of Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, Mechatronics Engineering Technology, and Industrial, Automation, and Control Engineering Technology
