Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver effective, engaging training sessions on HMH’s products and systems for customer teams, as well as internal stakeholders.
  • Develop new and enhance existing course plans and training materials to address evolving needs and maintain a high standard of learning.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of training technology and simulator facilities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with subject matter experts to ensure all training and competence deliverables are clear, concise, and technically accurate.
  • Deliver instructor-led technical training to customers and employees.
  • Facilitate practical hands-on exercises in a laboratory environment.
  • Evaluate training materials and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Foster strong working relationships across teams to ensure knowledge sharing and effective collaboration.
  • Actively promote HMH values, including customer care, cross-cultural awareness, and continual improvement.
  • Be a role model for quality, integrity, and HSSE culture, setting the highest standards for yourself and others.
  • Work in accordance with governing HMH policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical, engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years relevant experience
  • Experience with electro & control system engineering within HMH.
  • Strong customer service skills, and responsive attitude.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex technical concepts in layman’s terms.
  • Demonstrated understanding of HMH’s products, systems, and services, knowing how they interconnect to deliver value for our customers.
  • Proven ability to develop training content and deliver engaging learning experiences.
  • Experience with offshore operations or within the energy, maritime, or industrial sectors.
  • Must have valid passport for international travel (when required)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, Siemens PLC programming, Linux/QNX, SQL, and Networking MAC/IP addressing.
  • Awareness of the Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements and practices for land and offshore drilling operations.
  • Experience in oilfield services or equivalent environment.
  • Certifications in training development and/or competence management best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
