Electrician (m/f/d)

Mission Brief 

As an electrician you will help strengthen our electrical team at Launch Pad Andøya for our rocket “Spectrum”. You will be the one of the responsible electrician on-site. Together with other responsible professionals you will collaborate to have a safe and sound facility, with tasks including maintenance, troubleshooting, implementing upgrades and more. Also hands-on work will be part of your daily business. You will be a support function for all departments and work closely with our engineering departments in our headquarter in Germany.

Your Role in Our Space Mission: 

  • Act as one  of the responsible electrician for the launchpad and being the link between design and on-site executive departments 
  • Creation and reading of circuit diagrams for control cabinets                                
  • Carrying out and checking technical calculations                                                 
  • Selection and procurement of required components                                
  • Standardized functional testing of switch cabinets and preparation of measurement protocols 
  • Mechanical construction and wiring of control cabinets  and sensors                          
  • Support during the commissioning of systems                                         
  • Maintenance of the electrical systems of the launch pad                          
  • Electrical installation of control cabinets and systems                                          
  • Troubleshooting of electrical systems 

Qualification Checklist 

  • Completed apprenticeship as electrician, further education as professional responsible or similar  
  • Permanent approval as a "professionally responsible electrician" in Norway from DSB 
  • Previous planned and worked with electrical systems (24V/400V) for at least 3 years 
  • General knowledge about electrics and sensors, be able to read ECAD-programs and applicable standards/norms 
  • High reliability and sense of responsibility 
  • Team player with a can-do attitude  
  • Fluent in English
  • Driver licence class B
  • Be a part of our first responder team
  • On-call duty

  • Knowledge in the field of ATEX-electrics 
  • Do changes in ECAD-programs
  • Certificates on machines
