Job Summary: This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the Domestic DIB, MRTFB Direct Hire Authority. Major Duties:

  • You will install, repair, modify, troubleshoot, load and test new and existing electrical line, circuits, systems, fixtures and controls located in and near installation building and structures.
  • You will plan and determine the routing, placement, type, size, gauge, balance, load, continuity and safe operation of circuits, systems, equipment and controls.
  • You will perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems following preventive maintenance guides and trade knowledge.
  • You will use standard techniques and tools to make repairs entailing similar tasks as directed on less complex electronic equipment.

Qualifications: Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the job elements and screen out listed below. Interpreting and applying blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, technical manuals, National Electric Code, National Fire Codes, local codes, and to use trade formulas to calculate common properties. Working knowledge of electrical trade tools and test equipment.
