Position Brand Description:
Responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining the bulk of the electrical equipment used in the process area and labs and supporting utilities in IAPI. They need to have a working knowledge of the National Electrical Code. They also need a mechanical aptitude and a good understanding of complex electromechanical devices. Be able to troubleshoot systems by
understanding the electrical equipment and systems. Such as: single and three phase circuits and their controls, breakers, motor contacts, power and control relays, DC and AC motors and their controls, transformer operations, lighting circuits, heat tracing, fuse changes, breaker resets,
Motor control centers, Main switch gear, UPS systems, programmable logic controllers, lamp replacements, grounding checks. Also have the knowledge to install / maintain switches, fuses, cables, breakers, light fixtures, raceways, conduit, disconnects. Also have skills in using test
equipment (Calibration Standards, Flukes, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes, Amp probes, Megger, Power Analyzer and DVM Etc.)
Key Objectives/Deliverables:
• Safety: Responsible for conducting their daily activities in a manner that will cause no injuries to them or their co-workers. They are also required to attend safety meetings and complete all health and safety related training.
• Compliance: Responsible for completing all work in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) procedures.
• Documentation: Complete all documentation associated with daily maintenance activities, including work order hard copy completion, parts ordering (pick slip generation), and post maintenance documentation (where required).
Basic Requirements:
Have completed a (4) year Apprenticeship in the trade or equivalent work experience.
This position requires that candidates meet the area-specific Functional Job Description and Post Offer Exam requirements.

Education Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferences:
• Document work using good documentation practices
• Proficiency in basic use of Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel)
• Basic math and computer skills
• Must possess basic electrical skills have strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
Other Information:
Dayshift 3 days on/ 3days off/ 11.75 hour per workday.
Tasks require entering manufacturing areas which require wearing
appropriate PPE.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$21.27 - $41.25Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
