Electrical Technician I(Saudi Nationals)

KBR is looking for an Electrician
Responsibilities:
- Execute day to-day electrical maintenance activities on all electrical systems plant, equipment and facilities within the designated area of responsibility.
- Ensure, complies and applied SATORP's Safety and Quality procedures, during the execution of electrical maintenance activities.
- Ensure a proper execution of work and check on the activities engaged in routine maintenance activities.
- Carryout repairing and troubleshooting activities on electrical assets are carried out in timely and quality manner that helps increase the availability and reliability of these systems.
- Receive work directions from the respective Electrical Supervisor, in relation to electrical systems maintenance orders/requests.
- Follow-up on electrical maintenance work progress and submit regular progress reports to the respective Electrical Supervisor. Keep a record of daily maintenance works against planned maintenance programs and prepare work completion reports, where applicable.
- Enforce SATORP’s policies, procedures and regulations and ensure that all safety measures and precautions are strictly considered and taken care of during conducting maintenance works.
- Perform Preventive maintenance in HV and LV switchgear and control gears including testing of electronic protection relay, power circuit breaker, bus, bar contactors, motor starters, ATS.
- Perform the readings of partial discharge capacitor in HV motor.
- Perform on line analysis of current signature of motors.
- Perform testing on all kinds of transformers
- Support the switchgear operations in electrical substation when are request to do so
- Perform other related duties as assigned by his respective Electrical Leader.
- Proactive Safety aptitude and behavior.
- Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing Electrical systems.
- Good knowledge in Electrical equipment design, installation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing Mechanical and electro hydraulic systems
- Good knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance principles and working procedures.
- Strong knowledge of standards, procedures and regulation to develop activities taking care of Health, Safety and Environmental preservation
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Ability to perform work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Synergic and Capable of handling multiple tasks.
- Good commands oral and written English.
- Ensure that personnel have the skills, training and all needed resources, equipment’s and tools to conduct routine maintenance activities in safe and effectively manner, according to the contract terms and conditions.
- Holding certification of IECEx to repair explosion proof motors

Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – High School.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – Diploma.
- Hold a valid certification issued by a recognized third-party certification body or an accredited Saudi institute, attesting to the individual’s qualifications and competency to perform the works.
- Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas Facilities
- Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills
- Proven leadership skills with large organizations
- Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems
- Strategic management skills
- An ability to achieve business results working in a multi-cultural environment
- Flexibility to travel internationally and live in KSA
