This is a non-union positionAs an Electrical Technician II, you play a vital role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of liquid pipeline assets. You bring strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems, and a steadfast commitment to safety and regulatory compliance. Leveraging your technical expertise and collaborative approach, you maintain and support complex electrical systems, partner effectively with cross-functional teams, and contribute to achieving regional objectives and delivering operational excellence.
What you will do:
Maintain and repair electrical equipment to ensure facilities operate safely, reliably, and efficiently while minimizing throughput losses.
Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical and associated equipment, including motors, valves, VFD, PLC, sampling systems, relief systems, and instrumentation.
Diagnose, test, calibrate, analyze, and document equipment performance, recording all findings in the maintenance management system (Maximo) in accordance with company standards, best practices, vendor recommendations, and Federal and Provincial regulations.
Plan and execute work collaboratively with Supervisors, Planners/Schedulers, Mechanical and Electrical Technicians, CCO, Regional Support, contractors, and PLM to ensure work is completed safely and effectively.
Champion safety and compliance by following all company O&M procedures, developing and executing equipment lockouts, and maintaining clean, secure, and orderly facilities.
Support operations beyond daily maintenance, including on-call emergency response, assisting mechanical and operations teams, supporting construction and project activities, and maintaining facility records and drawings.
Who you are:
High School Diploma or GED required and Journeyperson Electrical with provincial or interprovincial certification. Instrumentation background will be considered an asset.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in an industrial field or Enbridge field department.
Class 5 driver’s license in good standing
Possess good interpersonal, communication and interactive people skills
Strongly self-motivated.
Strong organizational Skills
Ability to work and communicate respectfully and cooperatively with a diverse group of individuals and personalities
Proven strong work ethic, good computer skills, a willingness to learn, and a helpful positive team attitude.

Working Conditions:
Work Alternative Work Schedule 9/80 44 hours M to Thurs 9 hrs/day, F1: Off, F2: 8 hours
Mix of field (~80%) and office (~20%) environments.
Working on and around high voltage equipment, transformers, disconnects, switchgear, motor control centers, electrical service buildings, etc.
Field environment with some shop and office time.
Working in hazardous or restricted locations such as pump rooms, confined spaces, tank lots, and classified areas within yard and ROW.
On-call responsibilities for assigned areas and stations
This position requires the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, physically demanding work with the requirements to stand, sit, bend, walk. crouch and lift to 50lbs on a repetitive basis.
