Hybrid Work Requirement
For this position, it is required to be on-site 3 times per week.
What You Will Do (Responsibilities):
Lead staffing initiatives for your team, including recruitment and onboarding.
Conduct regular team meetings to ensure communication and alignment.
Communicate GM policies, leadership messages, and safety guidelines.
Prepare and deliver presentations articulating team vision and strategy.
Ensure completion of mandatory GM training and support career development.
Develop initiatives to enhance team capability and capacity.
Assign tasks, stabilize workload, and set priorities for the team.
Monitor and approve GM records related to schedules, overtime, and expenses.
Evaluate employee performance and behaviors, providing constructive feedback.
Recognize contributions formally and informally; participate in compensation planning.
Remove roadblocks and resolve issues to maintain productivity.
Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, purchasing, vehicle integration, testing, safety, suppliers, and other departments.
Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Software, Controls and Automation, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
Fluency in English (mandatory).
Strong analytical mindset.
Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Ability to coach junior engineers and develop technical talent.
Strong conflict-resolution and communication skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments and suppliers.
What Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):
Knowledge of:
Wiring harnesses: routing, packing, connectors.
Battery systems: BMS, thermal management, safety standards.
Charging systems: AC/DC charging, power electronics, communication protocols.
Vehicle electrical architecture: CAN, LIN, Ethernet, diagnostics.
MATLAB/Simulink.
DFMEA/PFMEA.
Fluency in Korean (highly desirable); other languages such as Chinese are a plus.
Experience in supplier quality and aftersales collaboration.
