Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

At our stone wool manufacturing facility in Pencoed, we are actively recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to be responsible for the day‑to‑day coordination and supervision of maintenance, projects and continuous improvement activities across mechanical and/or electrical assets.

What you bring:

  • Time-served apprenticeship in an electrical discipline (or equivalent)
  • Strong electrical engineering background
  • Experience with SCADA/HMI, VFDs and PLCs (e.g. Siemens, Rockwell)
  • Proven experience supervising maintenance/engineering teams in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Experience leading shutdowns, turnarounds and project interfaces
  • Strong planning, delegation, problem-solving and communication skill

What you will be doing:

  • Allocating and prioritise work orders, job packs and permits based on skills, availability and business need
  • Coordinating with Engineers and Planners on job scope, materials, permits and isolations
  • Attending daily/weekly planning and production coordination meetings
  • Working in accordance with EHS standards, permits to work and LOTO procedures
  • Leading incident and near miss reporting, root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Conducting Performance Development Reviews (PDRs) and agree development objectives
  • Managing day-to-day performance, attendance and standards constructively
  • Supporting reliability initiatives and maintenance strategy optimisation
  • Contributing to shutdown planning, post-event reviews and lessons learned
  • Driving a "Right First Time" approach to all maintenance activities
  • Ensuring all work is completed to standard and handed back to Operations
