Electrical & Engineering Services Technician, Level IV (Night Shift) 

Location: Portsmouth, NH. The shift schedule is from 6pm-6am each week: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday (8 hours overtime every other week and 20% pay differential for the Night Shift). 

The Electrical & Engineering Services Technician, Level IV installs, maintains, and repairs both manufacturing production equipment and facility-related systems. This role supports the Engineering Services group by ensuring equipment reliability while adhering to safety, regulatory, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, executing work orders, and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and utility systems. A strong technical background in electrical and mechanical systems is required to maintain operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment. 

What you will do: 

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical systems supporting manufacturing and facility operations. 

  • Execute routine and non-routine work orders with a focus on quality, timeliness, and compliance. 

  • Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes (NEC), safety standards, and cGMP requirements.  

  • Review and validate electrical work to ensure adherence to code and site standards.  

  • Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of systems including electrical distribution, control systems, HVAC, motors (single and three-phase), VFDs, instrumentation, valve actuation, fire alarm, and security systems. 

  • Serve as a technical trainer on designated equipment and systems. 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally and provide strong customer service to internal stakeholders. 

 

What we are looking for: 

  • Licensed Electrician required. 

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and applicable codes (NEC).  

  • Experience in maintenance and repair of industrial/manufacturing systems.  

  • Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across electrical and mechanical systems. 

  • Working knowledge of cGMP requirements and documentation practices is preferred. 

  • Ability to manage small projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.  

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
