Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineering Section Manager 2. This position will be located at Roy, UT and will support the Ground Subsystems Support Contract (GSSC) program.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide leadership, direction, and management to a team of engineers, technicians, trainers working engineering/training tasks
Assure the organization is properly staffed, trained, and certified to meet current and future program demands
Work closely with government program management and engineering staff to provide excellent customer support
Develop technical excellence in the organization, build and foster teamwork, and encourage cooperation within and across functional organizations
Resolve conflicting needs in customer demands within and between organizations
Manage multiple program priorities on engineering deliverables and effectively lead the organization in meeting and delivering to committed items
Manage cost, scope, and schedule of the contract

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) with a minimum of 8 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree in STEM with 6 years of related experience
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope.
Experience in program management
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience in managing a team of five or more people
5+ years of experience with SACCS weapon system and personnel management
Background in SACCS and ICBM communication systems architecture
Strong written communication skills
Dynamic personality for customer interactions
8+ years experience with creating and/or monitoring computer networks, programming routers, firewalls, switches, etc.
Primary Level Salary Range: $139,100.00 - $208,700.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
