Summary
As an Electrical Engineer, you will perform a variety of electrical, instrumentation, and controls design work to maintain and continuously improve the performance of multiple chemical production units and related auxiliary systems. You will provide design and technical services to operations and service units to assure safe operations, regulatory compliance and to maximize the availability and efficiency of these units.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls Design for Capital Projects.
You will coordinate with Solenis Engineering Design Team and/or Outside Engineering Resources, Operations and Maintenance as a technical resource when needed.
You will provide instrumentation and controls design support to all phases of project design, execution, installation, commissioning and operation.
You will maintain and apply company instrumentation design criteria and specifications as well as industry recognized standards.
You will troubleshoot and diagnose instrumentation related issues including electrical, mechanical, and computer-controlled systems.
You are responsible for creating, updating and drafting design documents including but not limited to loop sheets, motor schematics, panel schedules, I/O cabinets and onelines .
Requirements
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent science degree.
You have 10+ year’s of related experience in a Design Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering role.
You have10+ year’s of Electrical, Instrumentation or Controls installation experience
You have advanced knowledge of technical standards and guidelines (API, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, etc.)

The expected compensation range for this position is between $105,600.00 and $176,000.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
