JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Amentum is providing the opportunity for a summer intern, entering STEM fields, to directly support one of our Government customers at NSWC Crane.  We are seeking individuals who are passionate about the STEM fields, have a high level of energy, a drive to work in a team/collaborative environment and a desire to excel in all aspects of your work.  This internship will allow you the opportunity to work alongside current engineers supporting DoD work.  You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to different areas of engineering on government systems and products while working in a team environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older to hold DoD security clearance

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current pursuit of an undergraduate in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering.
  • Minimum 3.0/4.0 Cumulative Grade Point Average (no rounding) at current institution.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government security clearance (Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance)

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Self-starter actively seeks out assignments, and independent attitude.
  • Strong communication skills and desire to work in a team environment.
  • Creative, resourceful, open-minded and drive to succeed.
  • Must be fluent in verbal and written English.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment screening process to include background check and drug screen is required.

       

Compensation Details:

$18.00 to $32.00 per hour
