You'll conceptualize and design new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle from analog and digital electronic circuit card assemblies to fully integrated systems.

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Responsibilities:

  • Support the engineering team as an onsite liaison engineer in OH.
  • Support electrical engineering team as a design engineer.
  • Communicate between offsite team and production operations for on-aircraft modifications

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
  • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
  • Ability to communicate with team on different sites.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar software.
  • Ability to function independently and communicate effectively with team in different locations.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and practices
  • Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools
  • Familiarity with working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Exposure to simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
  • Experience composing and analyzing Electrical Load Analysis (ELA),  circuit modeling, simulation, and analysis
  • Familiarity with design requirements related to High Intensity Radiated Field (HIRF) and Indirect Effects of Lightning (IEL)
  • Knowledge of industry-standard electrical design principles, to include, but not limited to model-based definition, electrical component selection, manufacturing, and production processes
  • Understanding of Electro Magnetic Effects (EME) to include Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI)
  • Experience in digital or analog circuit design and schematic capture
  • Understanding of the printed circuit board layout process and tools
  • Willingness to be onsite and potential of travelling between offices.
